They are great for leveling. They bring the new (xbox-WoW) generation into the fold with CTF type games. I love that I can log on for a guranteed 5-15 mins tops of RvR, log out do the family. However, I'm hoping some changes are eventually made to encourage more ORvR. My fond memories of DAoC are based around this, the core concept of Warhammer. But it seems the instanced BG has won over for now. I'm really level focused right now with my new character, but once I'm mid 20's I'm going to be shifting focus and I hope I can bring some of you with me. I think our new alliance will certainly be helpful as well. In DAoC, we had BGs for certain Tiers, and they were the equivalent of our low Tier ORvR Islands. Eventually you graduated to the big picture, but you were prepped along the way. I haven't researched WAR much, but is Tier 4 still heavy on Scenarios or are you forced into ORvR? And at that point, are we going to find ourselves with alot of players that dont really know how to effectively play the endgame? I'm not burned out on Scenarios, as I'm just getting into Tier 3, but at somepoint I will need a change of pace. Hope I got some backing.

Not at all. Part of the reason for our Mount Gunbad run on the 25th is too see more of what thegame has to over. ORvR is what I'd love to get into, but we are still hurting on the amount of people in our guild that have the appropriate level to take a keep. I watched 5 level 31's nearly take Fangbreaka by their selves, so I think once we hit 28-30, we should be good on our way to do the same.
right now, gear and levels are what we are focusing on, and RvR takes care of that. We can get three pieces of our Devestator set easy and the fourth drops off a keep lord. So lets catch up to Pyrozet and Vyth and get this ball rolling.
